Original sword of the US Marine Corps Officers

Blade: forged from stainless knife steel, material code 8512, which is espacially used for cutting. Hand polished to a mirror like finish. hardened to ca. 55° HRC Rockwell. The blade spine is ca. 6 mm thick, the tongue 4,5mm. It is forged in one piece with the blade (integral knife)

In November 2005, WKC has taken over many tools of Wilkinson Swords Ltd. for production of various ceremonial swords. NATO stock n° for sword and scabbard: 8465-99-136-7276.

Blade: Stainless steel blade. Hand-forged, well tempered, hand polished, hardness ca. 48-52° HRC Rockwell. Acid etched with so deep one can feel it with a fingernail.
Guard: Casted Brass, 24 carat goldplated, hand polished.
Grip: Ivory coloured-plastic, polished, includes hole for the sword knot.
Scabbard: Stainless steel tube, hand polised with 2 rings.
